just play solid poker and wait for big hands early on. Lots of bad players even at that limit

So right now, your bankroll stands at 666 dollars including your ticket. The ticket is worth 216 dollars, a huge portion of your BR. I would recommend you just unregister from the 750K and take the 216 dollars in T$ and use it in a bunch of smaller tournaments. Thats just me though, if you are ok with losing 216 dollars on one tournament, then go for it and try to win big, but you could get a lot more play out of that 216 dollars.

true true but to be honest my eyes have been on the 750k the wole time really it was a min reason for playing the first 6.60$ to win the 26$ to make it easier............

Umm, once you're in through a satellite, it can't be unregistered

just play your game. Pick your spots and stay patient. Dont play too agreesive early for a 100 chip pot. don't think of it as 216 dollars. Think of it as 8 or 6 dollar tourney. (what you paid for the 26$ token I am assuming.) IE in your bankroll.

Hey King--I too won a $6 sat. and I'm currently using the token to try satting to the 750k. I'm going to try lots this week to get in--maybe both of us ITM? :) But yeah, like already said, just play your game and don't get involved in anything crazy too early. gl

too bad full tilt doesn't have T$... i really wish they did but once you're in one of those tourneys via sat. , you're in it for good.

Think it's all been said above, but just play it like you would any other tournament - while I've never played one, I'd be surprised if the standard of play was a huge jump from the lower buy-in games (during the early rounds, at least).

remember its a long tourny, think about the best moves in terms of survival rather than making big risky plays

a couple of things, a lot of people have sattied into that tourney so the begining stages can be much like your low buyin normal tournie OR they can be nit tight trying to "not screw up". A lot of the players you will also meet are well versed in LAG play, and if your playing scared money they will eat you up so be prepared to re raise or jam, cause that raising fool may have 5 2 off NOT AA. The biggest thing is this, for you, this is a free roll...yes a free roll and that mind set can work to your advantage. I suggest you watch annette 15 blind tourney, to remind yourself that its the moves not your cards. so to recap
1. lots of people will play tight trying to "win" use that.
2. you have allready posted your entry fee (free sorta) so it is "lost" so you might as well go for the win.
3. forget about what you may win in $ terms, just relax and enjoy it, dont be scared money.
4. when close to the bubble, be aggressive as hell, ok you may bubble bust but who cares your free rolling....right, most are tighter than hell and if you can steal 3/4/5 times in a row..do it!
5. some quick rules of thumb, from 2-8% of your stack you can call with almost any two cards (suited cons, small pp, cons, suited gappers" and the other good players are going to as well. This means if your playing a spec hand raise more than that range so they are not calling with "junk". Gus is well known for raising big with junk, now you know why.

If you have or put another person into the position where10-30% pre and 30-50% post flop of their stack is out there, its the same as a allin, use it for pressure and it will be used against you (see raising with ragg's). If you 3 bet with a 3 off, get re raised, you can jam or fold (beter to jam with 2 live than ace ragg imo) using the above formula.

Position, position, remember annettes blind tourney.
not every limp from utg is a monster and even if it is aa that gets snapped off by 2 pair...

You will have to get lucky, but the best luck is getting the other person to fold a better hand, so bluff, trap, and in the end just have fun...dont be scared.
