So i searched for threads and couldn't find anything i really wanted. I'm looking for some poker software where i can get an idea of how often the other ppl at the table call/raise preflop etc etc. But since i don't play at pokerstars or partypoker or FT, is there any decent software that you can get for free without having to deposit 50$ at one of these sites? I certainly don't need something to tell me the "merit" of a starting hand given a certain flop etc or to calculate pot odds, just to give an idea of what the other player's tendencies are. I tend to play poker when im at my comp (duh) and when im at my comp it tends to be coz i am studying or writing an essay/project for school so i normally 2-3 table while doing school. Obviously i do have to watch tables to pick up reads etc but I'd rather not waste time doing that if i don't have to. Any help woudl be appreciated and sry if this question has been asked lots coz i couldn't find anything on it.

well unfortunately nothing PT-like will be free and if you find some that is let me know. And for the record, you can use PT at a number of different sites and it is not affiliated with the sites in any way, it is its own "company" and you buy it straight from him.

Well it's affiliated with sites in the sense that the sites pay PT #%$loads of money to advertise them + "guide" players towards them. Alright then, can't say 100$ is worth it to me.

Neither the Poker Tracker program or the website have advertisements for any poker sites at all. I honestly have no idea what you are talking about, and if you don't think that the price of it is worth it to be able to find huge leaks in your game that cost you money you can keep looking for something free. Good luck.

ya i wasn't meaning PT when typed that...i was meaning the calculators/software/analyzers that have "get free with 50$ deposit to pokerstars" etc. That is what i meant by "PT-like software"..didn't intend to say pokertracker itself, as i've never looked at that particular one.

You are not going to get any good software for free unless you do one of those deposit deals. Pay $55 for PokerTracker and buy PAHuD as well. There really isn't a better $$ spend in poker.

If you don't want PokerTracker, Poker Academy makes a good looking program (although I have no personal experience w it) called 'Prospector'.
