PokerStars TV commercial: banned!

Can't imagine why this advert was banned in germany!

Might have something to do with gratuitous violence.

Roger tells me that you are one of the most charming gentlemen that anyone could ever hope to meet, but even so - don't you ever feel like doing that to your opponents at the poker table? I know that I do, on occasions!

finnaly an advert of how I precieve poker.

dont worry they ban it too hear in the usa, but still can watch on youtube....but i love the music in the background, i listen to it when i am playing cash game to keep me going..lol

In Germany the violence was completely acceptable. I guess that the supreme insult in that part of the world is splashing your chips

I bet it was banned because she smoked a cigar at the table.

I try quite hard to feel no emotion about any of the other players. Emotion isn`t usually helpful in a poker game.

Exception - the last live tournament I played in, there was an unusually attractive woman at my table during part of the tourney who also chatted in a witty and amusing manner. I felt occasional twinges of emotion in regard to her, but violence wasn`t part of it.

Arenn't there more important issues to address? What a joke.

As far as more important issues to address, yea, there are.
So lets just all take life so serious that we cant talk about lighter things..............EVER.....

And yea, I agree with grafkarow. It had to be the cigar.

But it will be banned in the states as well, cause they dont want anyone to know that online poker is to live poker what online sex is to live sex..........

ya cant get shot in an online game, and the only virus you get from online sex will only hurt your PC ( MACs are still pretty much immune)-..............
