Hey all!
Has anyone played in pokerstars freerolls lately? I thought wading through 2000 at Absolute was tough enough, but some of PS freerolls have a 10,000 player limit!!! You have to beat 9963 players just to qualify for the Sunday money tourney. I came in 5th out of 7800 2 weeks ago in the qualifier, and 125th on Sunday (won $1.50 lol).

I swear sometimes there are 1000 Gus Hanson wannabees that sign up for these. I am so tired of losing to 9 2os with big starting hands. But...
I will keep playing tight and being patient and hope that in the end the maniacs will take each other out.

I know your frustration, it drives me nuts sometimes and they will call all they way down the river not respecting anykind of raise. Unbelievable. The only thing I find out of this large entry freerolls is the experience and like you said the ability to be patient. Good job on placing where you did. If I find myself making halfway thru the 9000 so players I feel good. I just judge myself on where I placed each time. Someday I will make it within the 27 payouts. Have a good day.

Completely agree. That's why I rarely play freerolls. Play $5 buy-ins or more and you get pretty close to real poker.

they're better then they used to be, when only the final table qualified, and the second round tournament had maybe one or two hundred in the prize pool. i still never play them. try their FFP freerolls, i'm in one right now.

the FPP freerolls are the best freerolls available , I'll swear to it ;-)
Though , loose aggressive does dominate in Pokerstars play once you get into the top 100 of them though , it starts getting serious at least. I've beaten out the thousands to get within the 100 numerous times , but I swear by those freerolls too. They are the most difficult ones around and thats what you should shoot for....

Hi

Looks like lots of the same ppl like to sign up for freeroll, so start making list most don't even bother to turn up, poss. doing well in a different table,
I have had a few tables where it has been me and 9 bots (afker's) who auto fold to any raise, got to love that :D
