How do you turn off the chat in pokerstars? I was a little drunk last night playing some SNG's and MMT's and this girl folded the "best" hand she said and said she would have won, even though her hand would have beat mine, it wouldn't have beat the guy's hand who won. Well she called me a mooron ass lol so I gave her a peice of my mind and she turned me in.....I need to turn this chat off so I don't have a way of doing this anymore.....

Thanks guys.

Click on the options - the chip pile in top middle of screen and click where it says player messages etc.

Arguing in the chat is my favorite pass-time.

I was in a play money tournament and got into an arguement and this guy thought he was great and I said "if you're so great why don't you play the real money games?" and he goes on to talk about how playing for real money online is stupid and a waste, said how anyone who does is a sucker. So I took the liberty of looking him up on sharkscope and I found out that he lost a good $700 on there over the course of a single month. So I brought this to his attention, then he called in a mod and they told me to refrain speaking of any kind of data mining site.

Then he said he had my IP address and was going to report me to the police...wait, wtf?

Either way, he's an idiot, and I drop by to say hi to him once in a while.

FYI, you can also just block a single person's chat by right-clicking on their avatar. Then you can still chat at the table while not dealing with the putz in question.

I stay on the "stats" tab so I miss most of the chat.

But that's mostly so that I don't accidentally finish my sentences here in the chat window and send it off into the table.
