I just wanted to add my two cents to the debate about these tables. I personally loved them! The positives easily outweighted the negatives.
The games continued long after the other table games had closed. Some mornings we played until 4am. You could play heads up or three handed with no rake from the house.
The fact that you didn't constantly share cards was better from a health stand point, especially on ships that are prone to viruses. Their were no mistakes from the dealer, out of turn play, waiting while pots were split. Those problems simply didn't exist.
The 1-2 No Limit game we played had plenty of action and one pot of $900 on the last night (yes!). The only negatives were a higher than usual rake. But that was easily made up from the guys that didn't know what the heck they were doing. I could make money off these tables every week. Yes, I left a winner for the week.
The few bad beats were nothing more than you would see at any live action table. Absolutely no complaints! I wish they had these tables at our local poker room. Save me a fortune in tipping the dealer!

When I played on them multiple times on Carnival ships there was about a 10-11% rake.
