I got a Pokergo.com subscription to watch the wsop months back so I could watch. I watched the first few Poker after Dark episodes then kind of forgot about it. Does anyone still have a subscription? Any recommendations on programs that are worth watching? Worth keeping?

Thanks.

It's $99 for a year sub or $10 a month. I got a deal when I signed up but I don't see that listed any longer.

Judging by the lack of responses I don't think it got too much traction.

Just in case this thread comes up in someone's search. It looks like there is pretty decent new live content coming up in January and February. A bunch of new Poker After Darks in both Jan and Feb and a fair amount of live coverage of the US poker Open in Feb. Will keep it at least through then.

I just signed up a few weeks ago for pokergo at ten bucks a month. I like the content. There are hours and hours and hours of poker to watch, but the platform needs some work. Why there is no resume play option is beyond me. To have to remember where you left a 6 hour video when you return is supremely inconvenient. I have asked if this is in their development roadmap, and my query goes ignored.

I have also suggested they include a "continue watching" suggestion when you login, like Netflix and all other online video repositories have.

Not sure if I will continue to subscribe for much longer.

Ya the no resume option on pokergo is a real disappointment. It does have some good content though. I highly recommend watching some of the Pokerography original videos by Pokergo. They are short documentaries that follow the life stories of famous players such as Erik Seidel and Mike Sexton.

The Seminole Hard Rock WPT event is also coming up very soon here this month and you can watch it live if you have a pokergo subscription.

Customer service did respond to me this morning, actually:

"Thanks for contacting PokerGO. Thanks for the request. There are plans for this feature, we just don’t have a specific release date at this time."

I don't see how you go live without this most basic feature to begin with.

I think this is a fair point. I have a habit of jotting down the time using notepad and I agree that it is a little ridiculous to have to do so. Some content is better than others. Sometimes the lineups for Poker After Dark are wanting, too, IMHO. Still, I do find myself watching most events--via on demand.

i have a subscription too, I got it for the whine and cheese week with negreanu and hellmuth. But have watched a lot of the US poker open tournaments as well I think it is well worth it, has a lot of content with some videos over 5 hours long. I usually got it playing next to my poker table, yes I'm only a 1 table guy lol

There seems to be just enough content for me to keep renewing my sub. Every time I think about dropping it I look at their upcoming schedule and see something that I might want to see enough it to keep it for another month or two.

Seems they have implemented playing from where you left off. It just starting doing it this weekend. Tested again just now and the player is remembering where I left off.

Awesome. This was on the top of my wish list.

Next I would like to see a continue watching suggestion. Sometimes I forget exactly which episode I was watching. Perhaps also a recently watched list. Also, maybe tone down the size of the font on the episode list. Usually the actual number is truncated on the screen and if you are on a mobile device, it's hard to tell which one to click on.

Great to hear they implemented a resume feature finally. My 1 complaint is that the android App on TV seems to lag really badly.

I found it really disappointing.

I had hopes of it being comparable to some of the live streaming of WSOP from a couple years back when you'd get Antonio in the booth or Olivier Busquet giving excellent commentary. It paled by comparison. I kept my subscription going for months, thinking I'd watch it 'soon' but then rarely ever used it (each time I tried it was just so lacking I couldn't get into it).
'IF' they had decent commentary for this year's WSOP (& better coverage than last year... I mean please.... the coverage was the sh1ts last year! It was FAR better when it was a free service... and I don't mean just a bit better... I'm talking WAYYYYYY Better!).
Perhaps I'll give it another try but only because I KNOW that JoeShowdown is going to be playing on some of the feature tables & I really want to see him choke..... err I meant 'do really well' & take one of these events down!

Strange. Resume feature is not working for me anymore on any device with either Chrome or Firefox.

It's working for me again this morning using Chrome. Only thing I can think of is if it could be related to your privacy settings, or something like this. For example, maybe your browser is set to delete cached files or something like this on exit. Or if you are using a third party cleaner such as ccleaner. Just guessing, here. Maybe you could drop them an Email, or something to see what they say,.

There is certainly room for improvement. No doubt. As I implied above, I have found the Poker After Dark lineups disappointing, on the whole. On the other hand, I have been enjoying the Super High Roller Series China. Right now I am leaning towards renewing my annual subscription. If someone was relying upon a recommendation, however, I would be hard pressed to give it. I'm still on the fence but think I'll stick with it for one more year and see how it goes. How's that for waffling? -- :)

I found the new Poker After Dark series to be very enjoyable. Still enough content to keep the sub going for another month or two for sure.

Truly disappointing

-No resume
-Rewind and forward I still can't figure out
-You get control option pop ups every five minutes
-the programing for Wsop isn't even in true time sequence ,meaning after an hr of watching someone who w knocked out all the sudden is back at the table

Horrible

I do not have a subscription, I'm looking at tweets or YouTube championships when I have a desire and a lot of free time!
