Hey all. I’ve been getting back into poker recently and have enjoyed watching the world poker tour on Sportsnet here in canada (I still have the first few seasons on DVD).

Does anyone know if there are any other televised poker on tv here in Canada? Or even online channels (thinking wsop or other tours). I noticed there is a pokerstars TV App but it is not available in Canada.

Thanks.

I am the kind of dinosaur that still has cable. The WPT on Sportsnet is pretty much the only game in town. GTV (Game TV?) shows some poker, but it's usually very similar to what you saw on RSN the week or month before. There's not a lot of content there. The WPT seems to produce about thirty hours a season, so you see the same things over and over on RSN. I've seen some cash games on RSN that were filmed at Playground Poker in Montreal (like five hours worth). And TSN showed WSOP "live" this year from Day 1 of the ME. TSN will also show some of the previous year's events over the Fall/Winter. The EPT is usually a regular feature (on TSN?) as well.
If it is available in Canada, PokerGo app is your best bet for WSOP.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll have to keep an eye out on TSN.
