1) What does the Spanish term Las Vegas translate to?

2) What do you call a raise made more out of frustration than out of strategic concerns, continuing a tilt run (no, the answer is not tilt)?

1.) the greenlands, or the meadows
2.) a steam raise? speeding? i can only think of synonyms for tilting.
3a.) a brick is a "blank" card that helps no one. an offsuit deuce, for example.
3b.) broadway is a ten-to-ace straight.
3c.) a bug is a wild card that has limitations, eg it can only be used to complete a straight or flush (and not just pair another hole card)

A brick is actually a 10 or higher.

They are heavier than other cards due to the paint, so people will say put a brick up there, if they want a high card.
They may also yell, paint it.

1) The Meadows
2) A Steam Raise
3a) A blank in seven-card stud, for example, a card that appears not to help your hand.
3b) An Ace-high Straight.
3c) A Joker.
