I was thinking of having a look for some poker training software to help improve my game. I need to be challenged to improve my game and I'm not getting it in local pub leagues and down the local casino. I also can't afford to invest a million squid into playing thousands of hours online either, as my bankroll is very up and down when I play online.

Anyway - does any use or can anyone suggest some GOOD training software? Perhaps you thing it's a bad idea as the AI's are just not good enough to teach you anything? Will I just be better off playing $5-$10$-$20 & £50 SnG's on the internet?

Ta very much

Try PokerAcademy. The AI is built by the University of Alberta, the leader in poker bot development.

The demo is good for 6 hours of play. I disagree with some of the default play advisor's advice, but it's customizable.
