I have been using PT3 with partypoker with no probs (aside from the known bugs)

Have just started playing on PS.

Configured PT3 and its importing hands but the HUD dosnt appear at all.

At the end of a hand it displays palyers hole cards but never displays any plsayer stats.

Any ideas guys?

An error occurred during the Hud process.
Exception: Trying to access an index outsize of array (9 when array is only 6)
Please restart PokerTracker.

I haven't been able to use PT3 for several days. I keep getting this error.
Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: Unable to login to database (PT3_2008_05_17_004613). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "localhost" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

PT support hasn't been much help either.

The PT forum is filled with complaints like this. I'm pretty disapointed with the product as it was released.

Softaware programs

I am aware of the program but not of it's operational capability. Are you saying that it displays your opponents hole cards even when the player does not turn them up?

I have a forum and have a little familiarity with some programs that are site affiliates. Poker Edge and Poker Crusher.

Crusher terminates itself when loaded with a site it is not allowed to legally operate with and Edge is not allowed on some sites. I have read reports of sites blocking accounts of players who use some of these programs.

Do you feel that the benefit these programs provide, when operating as designed, significantly raises the level of your game.

Poker tracker is 100% legal mate.

It displays the players hole cards at the end of the hand.. its just the same as reading the hand history.

Yes it improves your game as it provides accurate statistics.

but right now its getting on my nervs as it isnt working!"!!

I don't use it, but whose hole cards are you saying PT3 isn't providing? There are hands where a hand history shows a showdown result, but not if the opp's hand is folded or mucked, as in a non-allin hand where your bet is just called and you win the hand.

To be able to see an opp's cards after he mucked them would be like reaching across the table and grabbing my mucked hand and flipping them over.

Just curious, since I do not use any tracking software.

@ Stu

Sounds like your table sizing might be wrong. Try finding an option to change from 6 handed to 9 handed.

@ nevadanick

Mucked hands that reach showdown are allowed to be seen. Doesn't matter if it is all in or not. Same when playing live...you are fully within your rights to ask a player to turn over his mucked cards. All PT does is go into the HH file where it will say something like "player 2 mucked KQ".

Im not saying PT3 isnt providing hole cards. I stated that the HUD wasnt displaying player stats.

To be able to see an opp's cards after he mucked them would be like reaching across the table and grabbing my mucked hand and flipping them over.

Or like reading the hand history!!! A lot less dramatic!!

PT reads the HH. If the folded cards are listed in the HH, it shows them. If the cards aren't listed, PT doesn't show them. Simple.

BTW, in the rules of live poker, it is legal to ask to see mucked cards at showdown. This rule is mainly in place to prevent live cheating. This is why most poker sites list mucked showdown cards in the HH's. Because it's a rule in live poker and to show there is no cheating in their software.
