What would be your own tell giving away your play? My pulse on my inner wrist always shows and hide this by long sleeves. Not a problem as poker rooms are usually nicely climate controlled.

I've seen it all at poker tables, people with dark glasses at night, crazy parace thing, but they say they are to hide their eyes....
The eyes are the window of the soul and the mirror of the world
It should be for this reason that players are always disguised to the maximum when they are disputing a tournament

When the dealer puts the floppy on the table, try to look at your opponents, that's when you can get some detail.

I have been trying to figure out my own tell because I think we all have some kind of tells. I also feel my heart beating when I hit a monster but I'm not sure if it's showing outside or if it is just something I feel inside. I have gotten calls to my monsters so at least it's not showing that much or then my opponents haven't been paying enough attention.

I don't look at anyones eyes so I think it is just funny if someone is wearing sunglasses at the table. I feel like looking at hands are much more important because I have spotted shaky hands many times and those have been almost every time nuts or at least close to it. Overacting is also often a sign of a good hand.

Online is a great place for anyone who has physical tells but there you can spot different kind of tells: time of thinking, fast calls, different betting patterns etc.

Generally speaking you are going to need a lot of hands with someone to get reliable tells online. Time of thinking can be very misleading.

Of course. You need a lot of hands at live games too cause you need to see how people act in different kind of situations. Time of thinking is very important online cause that is one of the few things there from where you can spot a tell. Who knows, maybe they are just taking a pizza out of the oven and that's why it takes so long but no tell is ever 100% accurate anyway. I mean, even live, shaky hands or fast pulse can be a sign of a monster OR a bluff so those too can be very misleading when you have seen only few hands before that. The most important thing is to observe and take notes, and play cautious when something seems off.

I play with balaclavas and sunglasses when I'm at the tables because that way I feel more confident that they can not read me hahahaha

My tell is I shake when I have bad hand and am bluffing, I also shake when I have good hand, and I shake when I have folded. 35 cups of coffee a day does that.

If I am calling your raise at the flop, I have the nuts. I always reraise or fold because of my need to narrow down the level of strength that the opponent thinks they have.

Very few players catch onto this, they think me calling is me doubting but I'd fold if I doubted.

If I am shallow stacked towards the end of a tournament, then my tells are blatant. I shove or fold pretty damn much or at least bet the pot if I hit anything remotely high. I see no reason to be subtle towards endings of tournaments since the bigger stacked players will intimidate you if they don't perceive you as ready to lose at that point.

Body language is incredibly telling. It is easy to hide but if you can follow how someone is holding themselves when they win and they don't look that way when they are making a big decision you may have a tell.

A lot of times the best tells I get are from bet sizing. You can sense alot of weakness from say a $20 bet flop with $85 in middle. He either has a huge hand or garbage. Usually garbage.
