Has anyone in this room had something incredibly crazy happen to them in a poker game? I'm talking Rounders style. Anything dangerous or just plain ol' unbelievable?

Lets all share our craziest experience at the poker table. I don't really have much but I am curious if any of you do?

About this time last year we were playing our monthly cash game at my friends house. Usually about 50 people.$25 buy in I had lost around 13th. We only pay top 10. I was dealing for my friends and a few strangers at the final table. The stranger started making very rude comments and got out of line many times in a row. I know how to top off cards, so I threw the stranger KK and my friend AA when it was down to the 2 of them. He went all in my friend called. there goes half his stack. I do the same thing again, except QQKK. He saw the cards and started screaming and started accusing me of fkn with the cards. I could do nothing but deny. He took things way out of control after that, but he ended up getting his ass kicked because he broke my friends lava lamp...yea i know. but after 2 black eyes he didnt even end up getting paid out!!!and left in tears. My friends later consulted me about the dealing and I told them what i had done.We all had a good laugh...at least i did.lol

On a lighter note ...

This happened at a home game at my house in the late 1970's. We were playing .25/.50 dealers choice with a very occasional five card stud pot limit hand.

I was having an unbelievable night. I was reading hands like Matt Damon did at the Judge's game in Rounders. Every time I needed a card I got it. I folded unbelievable premium hands that would have lost. Within a couple of hours I was up over $150.

These guys were going to keep playing until they got their money back. A couple of them couldn't afford to lose what they were down which made me feel bad. (Yes, I'm an idiot.) To boot, it was snowing like crazy outside. I really didn't want the game to go all night so I decided that I would start losing and give some back so that they would go home. I wanted to get some sleep.

My plan to lose money backfired. Within an hour, my $150 turned into $275. The snow got deeper and the game kept going on. They were going to play until it stopped snowing. Finally at about 5AM the game broke up. I managed to lose my way down to about $160 profit. They all left, cleaned off their cars, and struggled to get out of the neighborhood.

I later found out that it was only snowing at my elevation and above. A couple of minutes after leaving my neighborhood, at an elevation of about 50 ft lower, it was all rain. They could have left at any time.

I had a pretty awesome moment at Foxwoods. In the new WPT room downstairs, it's about 2:30 AM. The room's died down a bit, but still quite a few people. Directly behind my seat is a Medium-stakes stud game, and I hear someone getting mad.

So I turn around, and apparently this fellow mucked his hand all the way across the entire length of the table onto the hand of the guy who's yelling. Btw, this means the 2nd player's hand is now dead. He's yelling, but the other guy is asian, and isn't speaking english, so he either really didn't get it, or was at least playing that card. The floor comes over, eventually they get things calmed down, and play resumed.

No more than 2 hands later, I hear "THAT'S IT!" (Mucky McGee did it again)

I whip around in time to see the guy jump out of his chair and in a flash get to Mucky, grab him, throw him down on his back on top of the poker table, and slam him in the face MMA style. Except Mucky wasn't a trained MMA fighter, and he obviously lacked knowledge of fighting in the guard position. In fact his attempt at stopping the other guy from crushing him was to leave his face in front of the oncoming fist. For those of you keeping score at home, this method was -EV.

Very quickly security came running in and broke that up, but the table had to be shut down, the chips were all over, and I guess they were going to review the tapes to figure out who had how much.

I think my favorite part of it was the reactions of people after it happened:
"Wow that was pretty crazy"
"Yep"
(Back to playing)

Wow! These are some amazing stories. It's so interesting to hear about other players experiences and not only the hands they get beat on.

casinos mean business, especially when it comes to the poker tables. They have very strict rules. That's why I'm very cautious when I play there. I always remember to say raise before I do it. I make sure it's my turn and I never touch my cards unless I'm going to fold or look at them. I've known peopel who get banned from there.
