Poker Stars 100.000 tourney

i was just at pokerstars and was looking at the tourney page and the number of players that are playing in the 100,000 dollar tourney was at the start is 22572 players now to me that is a lot of players the buy-in was only 11 dollars but still that to me is way to many players dose anyone know of anyother tourney where there are more players than this one

I'm pretty sure that the sunday 100k @ stars is easily the largest online MTT tournament in terms of number of entrants.

after 1hr(first break) the field is dropped in half then there are about 10K people, I'm still in it and 1hr and 43min into it there are only 7500 left...3750 ppl get pd

the first day they ran it they announced and congratulated everyone entered for breaking the record and being in the largest poker feild tournament in history!

I came in 2nd in the life ball entry freeroll and that was 10000 entrants. 20k + entrants is such a huge field over 3k places in ITM place tho, so its a good toureny to cash on.

Its such a big field because there are a bajillion satellites to the tourney. I just won entry from a 70fpp single table sng. So its basically free to win your way into, which isn't hard.
