I have kk in the big blind. Action is folded to small blind who bets 4x. I re raise to 12x he calls. Flop 28q all diamonds he checks to me and I bet half the pot and he thinks abit before shipping me all in for 6x my raise. It looks like he's got a hand with the ace of diamonds since i think he'd be re raising me smaller with a flush and maybe even 888 possible 222 ( but I doubt he has 222). I put him on aq with the a of diamonds, and think he's probably actually gonna do this with any ace of diamonds since he probably knows that since he has the ace it's unlikely i had aa so he probably thinks the only hand I'm calling with is aq kk qqq. ( 888 is in my range though we haven't played alot so I doubt he thinks I have that. I called he showed 888 and his hand held up. So do u think this was a standard stack off?

Damn - After what he did preflop I would have to really figure QQ in his range also - so I am not going to like that flop at all. His big bet after the flop sure reinforces trips or a less than nut flush. He's protecting his hand. Either way I am cooked. If I'm not pot committed I have to find the balls to fold. But I don't know what his play has been up to this point. If he was prone to calling big raises and bluffing even bigger ones then I suppose I call. And what have I been doing up to this point that he would call my big 3bet with 88?

I'd call with K of diamonds, because I have many outs against a set or two pairs.

I'd fold without Kd
