Being a senior citizen and loving to play PC poker, I experience a problem with following other players. It appears that at my age I spend too much time trying to read my own hand before getting around to figure out the other players hands and if to bet/fold/check. Personal I suppose, but I've even won hands that I thought I had lost because I was busy trying to read other hands after the flop(s) and BAM, hand over. Just wanted to know if others experience things like this.:itsme:

sorry i press the incorrect button in the other post, i dont know how many years or months you are playing poker, but in my experiencie you need playing too much hands maybe on cash maybe on sit & gos, i guees thats the answer because if you take some experiencie and you play a lot of hands you gonna be confortable with the cards and you gonna read better your oponents and the situations, you need understand the software and the hands and if you invest more time in play you gonna take better results, i guees all depends the time you invest and the articles you read. have a nice day and gl at the tables :)

I sometimes have a similar problem if I start a few SnGs and go deep in them all.

One thing to consider is how many hands you are opening. If you are in early or mid position you should be folding a lot of hands without a thought. If you are playing QTo or 98o under the gun you probably need to tighten up.

Also I notice you play on FTP. They are the fastest poker room by some way, which is one of the reasons many players like them. Some rooms (Cake in particular) have much slower play, so you may like to consider that.

I am 75 and play every day. I play online live and at my local bar game. The biggest trouble I have is seening the cards. Online I always use a 4 color deck that helps a great deal. At the casino and in the bar I hope to get a seat close to the dealer. The kids at the bar are always helpful when the cards are at the other end of the table. Just have fun and use your life experience to defeat the younger set.
