Poker Question

I play on a poker site using my wifes card, my wife dose not play poker. but lets me use her card

Should I write and tell the poker site this as I want to enter sats to live
Tourneys as what would happen if i win a live sat

I don't think the site would have a big problem with it (But I could be wrong here).

The only issue I see here is the fact that it's a credit card, and the only problem the site may in-fact have an issue with is if say your wife were to call here credit card company and state she never made an account on a such a poker-site and/or allowed anyone to use here credit card to play poker with! Once again I'm not sure as to the answer to this just giving my 2 cents

If it came up say it was a gift from your wife.

In the future you could go to a gas station and buy one of those visa gift cards and use it instead.

They don't care where the money came from. As long as your poker account has your correct name and address you will get the check they send after you cash out. If your poker account is in your wife's name with her address, it'll go to her.

Forget about the card, is the poker account in your name or hers ?

If your playing under your own ID on the site then NO problem. Any entries you may win will be yours however if it's in your wifes name and you win she'll be going to play your tourney...lucky her! The other problem you have if your playing and you have created the ID under her name so you can use her card is if you tell the site that YOU are playing and NOT your wife they will not pay any monies you win. If they don't know no harm no foul she just gets to play any live tourneys you win and gets the checks cut to her if you withdraw.

It should have no effect at all. However!

The best idea here is to go use your wife's card, with her present, and purchase one of the Visa Gift Cards with it.

No effect. Just play and focus on your poker.

Live sat's can be given away. So your wife would just say she gave it to you.

Live sat's cannot always be given away. I won into the main event on bodog through a private tourney and I could not go because I didn't download it right. Some sites can be @$$holes about live tourneys
