Poker Program?

Whats that poker program that everyone uses that shows the players stats?

Can I get it for free?

Poker Tracker. I believe they have a free trial, after that you have to pay for it.

It is free for a bit longer (since it is beta still). I would hurry and try it. Everyone that I know uses it (or PO), so I bet that you will find it useful though. Probably wouldnt be a bad idea to just buy it, if you had to.

Also, if you are just looking for a program that collects the stats for the game you are playing (instead of collects the stats forever), you can try Tournament Indicator. (They have one called Poker Indicator for ring games) They surely do not compare with PT, but if you simply want to see your opponents stats, it will do the job. I only have it because I am not always home on my personal computer when I play. So I carry these two programs on a USB stick and I can still get some kind of stats on the other guys at my table. The good part is that they are free.

so ,ill ask a dumb question...what,if any,purpose does this program serve.answer..none what so ever.more useless junk to suck up your bucks.quit wasting your time with trackers and odds calcultors and just play the dam game.is that so hard to do.if you are worried about making money, i personally recommend you get a job

Where the hell did you come from?

First, if you are not worried about making money, why the hell do you play? Actually it is people that put money on the site expecting to lose that keep me in business. Nevermind...
Second, you use PokerTracker so you can go back and look at your games and find leaks. I can almost get by the tone you used, that you have no idea what PokerTracker even does. You are not wasting your time with "trackers". It also has nothing to do with odds calculations...
You did see there was a link that you can go look at the features and then maybe you could comment on whether you need them or not...
Also a closing thought - since you are not worried about making money playing poker, that probably means that you dont make any, therefore you probably would benefit from using PokerTracker...

I downloaded the program. Can someone please give me a little input as to how I can interpret some of these stats....

first you have to enable your hand histories - save them to harddrive

This thing won me a few hundred today. Definitely worth the money IMO. I still don't know how to use most of it too lol.......

Its also kinda buggy - I have to reset it all the time. I appreciate the info you guys got me on this but I still can't find the basic meanings of some of the things.

The number value and other simple things are still hard to understand.

You will get used to checking stats while playing. Just select time and go into the stats. Is he trying to reraise on the river? See if he has ever done it before and if he was bluffing. Is he trying to steal your blind? See if he has been stealing or if it is an iolated event.

It is buggy but it is a beta thats why. The real one is supposed to come out in a week or so. I have the problem where the entire left side of the table disappears. It is worse when multi-tabling. Not sure what the problem is.

Not at all true, like all the posters above say it helps you find the holes in your game while blissfully being able to ignore the one between your ears .

Not to mention the fact that you can pretend to be a super clued up poker shark when in actual fact you suck big time (no names).:deal:
