I was wondering about downloading a poker podcast. I can see that there are thousands of them available, and was hoping to get some input as to what ones are worth listening, (or equally useful, worth avoiding).

I am hoping to find a pod cast that will help me with my game. I am still a beginner player, playing 2NL, but I think I have the basics of the game down. Does anyone have any podcast recommendations for me to keep an eye out for?

Also, if you have specific podcast episodes for me to start on I would really appreciate it, I know a lot of podcasts have numerous bad shows between their good shows, so if you know of one particular episode that stands out, please let me know.

Poker show

I saw your post about poker radio shows. I happen to host the "All in Poker" show. You can hear all the episodes at www.allin.podomatic.com

Let me know what you think!

Thanks,

2+2 PokerCast is good. Quality strategy segments and very good interviews. Very long episodes (2 hours plus generally - which I love).

Poker Road has many interesting ones. Of these, Cash Plays is very informative and PokerRoad Radio is pretty entertaining but full of repetitive ads with frequent breaks (now that they're on terrestrial radio too) that you can skip through.

Phil Gordon does a decent job on his ESPN Poker Edge. Not quite as good as the others but still worth a listen. He's so odd sometimes though (I won a nice ESPN Poker Club Polo from them last year so that was pretty cool).

2 plus 2 is by far the best. Pokerroad with Joe Sebok is great also. I am looking for a new podcast also, any ideas? I would like to add a third into the playlist, let me know if anybody has some good ones out there. Does bluff not do a podcast anymore?

Looks more like a popin to promote the show rather than someone who is gonna stay around and chat.

Is this podcast available on itunes?
