My opinion that poker at all not for poor people. You play NL1 or NL1000, in tournaments with bye - other $0,25 or $100, the nervous tension is identical provided that you are able to afford these tournaments. That is, if you are the wealthy person and you can dare $10000 to put on банкролл, you will worry and worry about them no more, than the person with a salary in 10000 rubles will worry for банкролл in $10. A difference only that for identical nervous and time expenditure in the first case you (at best at successful game!) you will receive $5 a gain, and in the second $300. To rise on limits from NL1 to NL 1000 or it is similar in sit-N-gou from 0.25 to 100, the probability theory (remember about tossing of a coin with limited and unlimited number of times) won't give and it will be necessary for time much, more simply and quicker to earn and throw on банкролл in addition. Here before you two players: 1. The person who shivers for the 100 dollars of a bankroll, playing the CIS $1,5 on a bankrolla, at it the mood jumps, he worries, wins, loses and in 5 hours of game which were tired and exhausted by continuous differences of mood, a motionless pose and the screen of the computer receives $10 a gain. 600 rubles. It is worth it? I think, no. Another with under the same conditions receives 100 dollars of a gain. It is worth it? 6000 rubles. I think and. Strongly don't carp at figures, and only I wanted to inform that in poker if it is interesting, it is necessary to start playing at once from the normal sums which besides aren't a pity for losing. Only this way game can justify itself. Agree?

Hi, I agree with you. Poker is a gamble, not just intellectual. Therefore, you can play only with the amount that you do not mind losing. And a loss will not affect your life. You can not play for last money. This is silly. This is a game and it should bring pleasure and a little money.

I do not agree! I'm poor and I play poker, of course the financial problem is a mess, because I've had to make a lot of decisions and I ended up losing more money for holding the game and being scared to be eliminated in a tournament in order to get a better placement and also got my bankroll because I needed to withdraw the money a few times, but I made good profits that helped me a lot through poker.

I think a lot of players probably start out with the free rolls, in which case, there are really no worries about finances. I have managed to build a very modest bankroll doing this. Mine is not a case of being 'poor' but more of a case of not willing to gamble my personal finances on an online game. Others will remind you that if you have a little bit of spending money that a night at the bowling alley and other forms of recreation also cost money, so why be afraid of spending a little on the occasional poker night? It's definitely an individual and/or family thing in my mind. While your finances may prevent you from starting out in money tournaments or cash games, a lack of money clearly does not rule out the possibility of the enjoyment of the game in general--i.e., recreational poker.

Apparently is easier to have money for back up in order to jump directly to the mid - high stakes poker , where real poker is being played. But for me no matter how much do you spent for poker per month IMO the most important is to follow a decent bankroll management and avoid deposit money again and again!

Poker is not a get rich quick plan. Yes, it could happen but for most it is a long grind unless you can luckbox a big tourney right off the bat. Never invest more than you can lose without regret.

you are very much mistaken. More than 50 percent of famous and successful poker players came from the poor. In my mind in poker, the main thing is to be able to play, be part of a psychologist, competently bluff, and of course, Ms. luck. Sponsor of this game will always be found. After all, money must make money. :)

Let's face it fellow members, in this world we live in today and all its uncertainties.Anytime a person (rich or poor) gets a chance to escape to something that they fully enjoy (playing poker), then I say do it, have a blast, and damn the cost.

Poker is for everyone. The blinds can make the difference between small or high stakes. There are so many tournaments for 0.02 $ to 1500$ or cash games so whatever you are (poor/rich) you have access at tables.Enjoy poker and good luck friends.

Sure it is, if you are mostly playing for fun and not dropping all your money on it.

I have just as much fun, actually more, playing at pokerstars for play money. It doesn't matter if you're rich or poor, anybody can play. A big advantage (at least I think so) to play money is that you get to play against a lot of Americans.

Poker is a game for everyone. At the same table may be a millionaire and a poor man without much prosperity. In the life of such people it is difficult to call equal, but at the poker table all are equal and have a chance to win.

It's the most blind thing I've seen, it's not for the poor, you have to have money to be able to play it the right way without reservation and without fear.

Im not agree with that and i find it a little bit offensive if you ask me.Poker is for everyone. You can easely play low stakes or you can play freerolls or what ever. Why poor people can't play poker??I don't find the use of your post, everyone should had his opinion but in a manner way,is rude to clasify someone one or a group of people as "poor".

I think that the poor can afford to play for large sums. But only if he raised the bankroll on freerolls and did not spend his money.

Poker can be played by everyone who likes poker, but not everyone can make a deposit into the game and can play excellent freerolls and win, and players who can make a deposit to them freerolls are not needed and they play expensive tournaments and play cash games at big bets , but everyone can play poker, both rich and poor!

Poker temporarily equals the people of different prosperity at the table. We do not know who we are playing with. Maybe with some kind of sheikh. And for this I like poker
