Best Poker Movie

I would have to say Rounders! I mean Matt Damon and Edward Norton in a movie should be enough said! I just love watching it every time its on T.V. What is yours?

I think is "All-in". It is a very impressive movie and is the first movie I watched about poker. At that time i dont actually play poker.

In my (unpopular) opinion it's Lucky You - but maybe I'm biased because it stars an Australian.

Either way I liked the (apparently) realistic portrayal of the Vegas poker scene and the degens that inhabit it. And the Drew Barrymore stuff didn't bother me as much as it seems to bother most other people.

Rounders obv, but Lucky You is fun for playing spot the cameo. There's a very long list of them.

Hollywood doesn't really do the game any justice.

Shade isn't a bad movie. I'd recommend it if you haven't seen it. Although its less about poker or more about mechanical dealers.

cant say ive gone crazy about any poker movie but rounders is probably the best one out there. there is definitely a need for more poker movies to be made. example the life of chris money maker or some kind of true story like that.

True that, that would be awesome or maybe when Doyle Brunson dies (knock on wood). Someday hopefully we will have a poker movie based on a real poker pro.

I have the odds queued on Netflix and it looks like it might be good. Oh and breaking Vegas was an interesting documentary.

yes as mentioned all before. rounders, luck you and maverik are all great poker movies with rounders taking the top for shure.
But noone has mentioned one of a kind the stu unger story.
To me it was a great movie about one of the best card players to ever had held a card in there hand.

For a realistic movie the best is Casino Royale, for dramatized poker the best is Rounders.

Shout out for The Cincinnati Kid. Great final hand and the ending is just too good. Rounders was a great movie but I always wonder what happened to his character after he gets into the cab at the end of the movie with his stacks of high society to strike it rich in the wsop...

Yeah, I like it too, I'd have to say Rounders is "one" of the best!
