On the relationship between mood or mental state and quality of the game say very rare, although they are important factors for success. I also faced with problems of this nature. If you are prone to bouts of depression, then you have the opportunity to reassess the impact of such a condition on the quality of the game and you may be to defer this activity until again take control of emotions in their hands.
Mood swings - the usual things for any of us. Most often, depression is associated with life's setbacks and a sense of loneliness. Your mental state has a greater impact on the quality of the game, than it might seem at first glance. Bad days happen at all, and I am no exception. In such bad times I can have five or ten bad beats / coolers in a short time, and I lose control after the third move. All of these factors undoubtedly affect the ability of decision-making and increase the likelihood of errors.
It is therefore very important time to understand their condition before the session begins. Do not resort to extremes, and cancel the session only due to the fact that you have a bad mood today. I believe that much more aware of the problem and work to resolve it before the game: just select ten minutes of meditation or visualization. Take time out, work on breathing exercises - it will radically change your mood.
Cross your legs, close your eyes and take a deep breath for as long as your lungs are filled with oxygen. Then exhale slowly. Repeat this exercise 50 times. As an added element you can listen to relaxing Buddhist mantras by Thai monks.
