Poker Insomnia

Whoes ever fell asleep after signing up for a tourney and end up missing it? I am currently up to two and ironically its always for a lot of money, luckily i have had a lot of luck contacting support and getting the money refunded. Which i really think is lucky because its really not there fault that you missed your tourney, especially because you fell asleep. Honestly because your chips arent physically removed from the table, someone has to win those chips in the blind so i think it is an unfair atvantage to the feild.

I did that once but I was actually playing the 30+3 GTD 6 man MTT on UB at 1 am... I got home from work and decided why not and was sitting on my bed with my laptop and boom out goes the lites and my money

You're very lucky that the site gave you your money back. It is an unfair advantage to the players at your table, sure, but one could argue that it could happen to anyone. i.e. it affects players randomly and is thus not an advantage to anyone. It's the same idea as getting a table with a fish.

I think it should be more your missing the tourney and possibly losing your buyin that you should worry about.

I've done this (fallen asleep) a few times - easy to do as I'm based in Australia and lot of tourney's start from 5am to 6.30am my time being later afternoon-evening in the USA
