Hey everyone. I'm paying a trip to Dublin from 25th of August for 7 days.

During that time im playing in a 250€ buy in tourny and 2 110€buy in tournys

Can't wait to finally play some PROPER poker rather than online crap!!!! Look forwrad to the tell spotting part of my game. Had no chance to practice it reallY!

Any big tips on how to keep my cool and not get carried away with the scene?

Also, anyone else going to be in dublin then? Could meet up and talk poker. I'll be a poker fanatic who thinks he's the best but he's crap :) quite funny really :p

Think i'll have to be a sweet and subtle killer.

Act all innocent ;)

Is table presence important? In live games I usually talk a LOT and annoy people! Seems to work when wanting all in calls! and makes bluffing easier depending on the way i talk/act

not sure

I do that too. Not in poker. Just in general.
I wish I had more live experience. I have played in a casino. I felt like a trout flopping around on a sidewalk.

rofl. First time i played in a poker club... was 50 players in it.. £25 buy in.. i came 7th and started an hour late so not a lot of chips compared to average.

I managed to talk my way to my position. I pissed off many players. One of which, when I went all in with AJ on the button, a pre raiser was considering to call. I sat confidently smiling, chip playing and said "its obvious what you're going to do, why delay it?". He said "for christ sake. I'll fold so please shut the hell up"...

He was obviously an amateur and fell for the bait. Hope i see more of this.

There was also a pro in my game. We started off friendly but after my banter he disliked me sitting to my life. Had AA, he raised.. I re re-raised saying "HA you could not have picked a worse hand!!!!!!!!!!!!!".. and he went all in :)

:D
