When do you think that the "ban" will finally be removed and people will be able to just play with their Credit Cards instead of having to use these eWallets and other go-betweens? I tried to use a virtual credit card using mine to start an pay account on pokerstars but I got an e-mail saying my credit card doesn't support that "feature" and I didn't feel like calling and pursuing the matter.

Just curious. Don't feel like Duplicate Poker lol

Most of the major online sites, and Pokerstars in particular, go out of their way to provide US depositors with as many alternatives as they can. And, IMO, their Cust. Support has always been prompt and efficient in dealing with any questions I fired at them. There are nearly always options besides Duplicate Poker.

There is not an American ban, just U.S. Canadians, Mexicans, Central Americans, South Americans can all use credit cards.

As a non-American I'm a bit confused over this matter, never realy bothered about it. But now I'm getting curious..

How come some clients is for non-US only, and why no credit cards?

Not for a good long while; think about how long the U.S. has kept other outdated puritanical laws..

Canadians may be able to use credit cards, but they can't play at bodog.

See my thread posted today (12/20) for an interesting read on more efforts to sell out US players - by our own government.

america under fire

i think as long as the government can control how you spend your money then it will never be unbanned cause we all know the government loves to tell people in this country how and when to spend thier money
