From what ive heard back when online poker became really popular there was just a FLOOD of fish to all the sites.. I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on whether or not we will see a repeat of this if online poker becomes regulated and mainstream again in the US... I'm banking on this happening taking this time now to really dive into the world of online poker and really try to get my skill level up against a pool of better players so when the gold rush happens ill be there raking in the dough! What do you think?

If the US Government regulates online poker I think there’s a good possibility that there will be another boom, perhaps not as big as the first one seeing as online poker wouldn’t be “invented”a second time around but who knows... Also, if the economy has had time to fully recover before it’s regulated then I’d say there’s an even better chance of another pretty juicy poker boom. But you could never know for sure and what do I know, I come from a land of “Tax Free Online Poker for ALL!”

Back years back there were a lot of fish or those who thought they knew how to play.. not really sure which it was? LOL
I believe the economy has more to do with players/fish online than the poker sites. Guess if the Government gets their sh1t together and figures out how to tax winnings, we will probably see!

I think it could happen if it gets regulated. However depends on how it is regulated. If it goes state by state, then I think you could see each state drying up and only having good nits at the table mostly.
Also depends how easy they make it for new people to sign up and get money on the site.. With the regards wanting to control how much we gamble and such their might be loops you have to jump thru to get your age verified and a delay process and a max amount of mney regulations so makes it harder to lose your house payment.
Time will tell.
