Poker for Fun, or something else..

How long you play poker and do you play just for fun at free time(Freeroll and micro buy-in) or you play bigger buy-ins and consider it as a one kind of job in your life (how much you play at day) ??

Earlier,I was thinking of starting to play poker more seriously, but it requires a lot of waivers and times, and I gave up on that..For now ,I just play freerolls..

Currently I play poker during 1 year and playing just for fun. So I'm playing mostly freerolls and micro buy-ins.

i play for fun in micro, but, when i have a bankroll of 20-30 play in regular poker, and always lose.

The truth is that I love poker, it's something I wanted to do all my life, and dedicate myself to it as a career, so I think in my case it's a part of fun and desire to improve every day

freerolls are great to start but very difficult because they are not paid there are some crazy players but there are some good points: you can create a bankroll and put into practice some strategies without fear.

hello my dear, if you currently do not have the time to devote to the maximum and try to be professional, the best to do and play as recreational. To become a living player requires a lot of time, dedication and even study, so if you can not get enough time to study and play the best, do not think about it now. But whenever possible, read something or see something related to poker, to improve your knowledge in the game.

I love poker and would love to play it on a more serious lvl but atm the time ( family and job ) wont allow me but even so I am happy to play for fun on freerolls and micro buy ins .
Ofc every now and then when I have the $ I buy in a low to mid tournament without any luck so far to but that's ok as I still enjoy myself.

Poker is fun, but when I play for money it is a serious business. When I play freeroll I usually play for fun and do not care for results, but when my money is in the game, nerves are getting tense hah

I generally play whilst I am working ( work at home) to break the monotony of what I am doing. Probably play 4 hrs a day. Its fun for me and actually teaches me alot of self control and patience.

I personally play purely for fun. I play quite a bit, only when there is free time in the evenings. However, if this vacation also starts to bring at least some small money, it will be doubly pleasant.

Enjoy more the competition, playing for money is an added bonus. With money being involved, there would be more emphasis on competition. For me, the game, the fun and the money all go hand and hand.

When I first started, I must admit I had a dream of making a living out of poker. But my dream is over now... I'm back to reality and my skills are just too bad to quit my day job.

But I can pay some little things with the monthly profits I'm making from times to times

Better than nothing.
