Poker and Family, how to deal with it?
Since I've actively start playing poker I've noticed that there's one more challenge for a regular poker player.
Your family's objection to Poker. Most of my family either thinks, I'm going to loose my car, house, life to poker (even if I only play freerolls
and manage my bankroll with that freerolls earnings), or think that I am dedicating too much time studying it while I could have been paying attention to them.
Well, poker does demand a bit of my attention as I decided to study, to participate in forums and watch some videos. So, now, just playing when nobody is at home and when I have enough time to finish a tournament before anyone arrives home. Mostly on Saturdays because of my job.
So, how do you guys do? Does everyone accepts it in your house? How much time do you separate for poker, daily or in a week?
How to manage family and poker? =).
