Poker Dreams

Probably largely due to the fact that Merge is causing me grief with the withdrawal I requested over 2 months ago, and the fact that I am following the goings on at Merge pretty intensely, I have woken to Poker Dreams (maybe poker room dreams) twice in the last week.

In the first dream I was playing at BCP and in the middle of a hand, the background changed and all of a sudden BCP was a Winning Poker (ACR, True) skin. It was a seamless migration. the screen barely flashed.

In this second dream, I get an email from Merge telling me about all my Merge user names, how they are consolidating all sites, and I need to choose which username to keep. I chose Flopologist11. Then I woke up.

idk if you knew this already but there are rumors going around that seem to be semi-credible that BCP might be moving to the Winning Poker network. If you had that dream without knowing about the rumors I'm impressed

I knew about the rumors......

Another one last night, and again, the caveat is that I have a large roll at merge which I can not get to.

The dream was that it was not BCP which changed networks, it was Carbon, after gaining control of all the Merge Money, they skipped off to Revolution (Cake).

The uproar in the gaming community woke me up!

LOL , I dreamed about smoking (cigs)when I quit, I'm glad I don't dream about that anymore,prob because it's on your mind ( u keep thinking about it )chill a least u know ur gonna get ur money someday unlike some other sites that just put the screws to the rest of us !!!

I dream of limbs which work again.
Food I can eat again.
Walks I can take again.
Feet which aren't being punctured by 20 gazillion needled.
And giving my toilet the award it so richly deserves.

Me either the only dreams i can remember and its just the last little bit of them. But the ones I remember are the ones I die in usually from falling from a really high distance.

However sky diving still sounds appealing to me.

If I smoked ot I'd have an explanation, but I'm not a user. Maybe my mind is gone.

Speaking of falling, when you are in one of those dreams & wake up, do you feel like you're falling when you wake up? I hate that.

Hopeing you get access to your winnings soon dj, that would be a nice dream.

yes i still feel like i am falling and jump like two feet off my bed. Why does my brain think flopping so hard would stop me from falling.

So smoking pot makes it so you don't remember your dreams well that solves that mystery.

The other night I had a poker dream myself! A nightmare I should say. I dreamed that I was on the bubble in a big tournament and all of a sudden, my pocket cards were open for all other players to see. I couldn't see their pocket cards but for some reason I didn't think mouch about, I just kept playing and tried to make the best of it. I don't remember how it went but I'm sure I busted pretty quickly. Very very wierd dream. I'm pretty glad that's not how it works in real poker..

Huh I actually did have a poker dream last night.

I dreamed I was at a cash table heads up with 1k and the flop came and I had a straight. I shuv and the other guy calls and he has two kings and there is a king on the board and the last king comes on the turn and I lost all my money.

Sad.

I had a crazy dream I walked all the way from Michigan to Las Vegas to play in the world series and won just as I was about to put my bracelet on I woke up....The dream was so real I looked around my bedroom looked at my wife and was like aaaaawwwwww dam I'm still married so it was just a dream.

Related to poker dreams as in that dream state I remembered that I wanted to play a local live tourney today before remembering that I had a huge room to paint.

I was a journeyman painter for a good chunk of my life, and one of the painter nightmares is the long room with a big window at one end. Even worse is the room with big windows at both ends, but the dream just had one large long room. The ceiling had to be painted, it was textured as most drywall walls/ceilings are. Well, there is no way to get a perfect paint finish on a wall textured with a machine blowing texture out of a nozzle held by a human. And a machine hasn't been developed yet that can do it without human help. The problem is the angle the liquid texture hits the wall, and the resultant little spray patterns from each drop/droplet. Seems like a non issue right?

But the light patterns from those miniscule spray patterns deflects light differently with every direction the spray was applied. There is no perfect solution.

The size of this room in my dream was such that it would have taken a week just to do the ceiling. Full of furniture, and the patterns of the fresh drywall.

1/2 hour after my first cup of joe and I remembered the dream and that there is no room in my life that needs to be painted.

So I can go play a live tourney today!
