When a poker player says they've gone broke, what does this mean?
Does this mean they've lost their bankroll and they need to start the grind again?
Or does it mean they can't afford their mortgage next month?
I feel poker definition of "going broke" is different to the real world definition.
Also, when the pro's do go "broke" , do they just work a normal job till they get enough to build a bankroll and hit the felt again?
Brunson himself said he;s been "broke" over 20 times, so how did he build his Bankroll back up? Obviously he probably can get royalties and book sales etc and this money woudl go to bankroll, but pro's who dont have royalties would need to just get a normal job at this point ?
Just food for thought, I don't know too much about this though.
