Like it or not, there are a lot of live players out there who will pass judgement on other players based on how comfortable they are handling chips. Read Mike Caro's book on tells
- they're making judgements about how you stack
your chips, and that's before you even pick them up.
If people will give your raises even the tiniest bit more respect when you know how to handle your chips, then I think it's worth learning a few tricks. Unless you want to get clever and deliberately have people think you're a n00b by fumbling your chips... but that's a whole different kettle of fish.
