I like collecting old chips every once in awhile I go on ebay and buy 1 or 2 chips,I like to play in live mtt and I use them as card covers, lately I've been thinking that I would like to put some sort of protective cover on some of them problem is I've gone to a couple of coin dealers here in town thinking they could help me out but they don't have any that will fit a poker chip, I've called a couple of places that carry them hoping they have dealt with this problem in the past put they are just as lost as I am they want the size of the chip but I have no clue all I know I got them from the different casinos in vegas, and some of them on ebay, hey anyone here at cc have this problem and know how to get these covers and which ones !!!

What's the size of the chips? that's the million dollar question, I got and old micrometer I guess thats what you call it,I have no clue on how to read one but on one side it appears to read in inches, my only guess is it's 1.52 which is close to an inch and a half lol someone I talked to told me an inch and a half is around 38 to 39 mm he had those sizes and he was willing to ship me one of each after begging a little to just ship one of each because I mentioned I would buy off of him once I found the right size, but I did get a bunch of chips from vegas from the different casinos and they all seem to be the same size, would that give a clue , any way thx

Standard chip size is 39mm.

This is what you're looking for: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Tite-Ring-Type-Poker-Holders/dp/B002S4QMSK"]Amazon.com: AIR Tite Ring Type Poker Chip Holders - SET of 20: Sports & Outdoors[/ame]

That's 25 of them but that's the big name brand that makes them. Check eBay.

I think u need to buy something like 4CM=40mm , think that size is in diameters...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/25-H-40-Dir...075?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4174556283

try this one...for collect coins and ....chips....

that is H40....would be a bit bigger for 39mm chips, but would fine.

the amazon link above works think perfect for ur chips...you may google or ebay for better deal!

Thanks fellas!!! for the help, now I think I'm headed in the right direction lol I tried a couple of the coin guys here in town they didn't know, so I figured I'd ask here at CC, figured someone would know, one of the coin guys did have the black ring one, he showed me that it did fit,but I told him I preferred the one without the ring , but he didn't have one of those, hey but now I know which one to get Thanks again :D

Why is it such a problem.
Clear plastic bag and sticky tape.
Laminator if you want it semi-permanent.

But XXPXXP appears to have come up with exactly what you are looking for.
There are probably similar boxes for coins in more sizes if necessary with a bit of similar internet searching.
