Poker Bringing people closer to or not ?!
I've met a lot of people thanks to poker and no wonder all of us in the poker blood!

I guess that's why we all so well and understand and hang out. Because we all love poker!

poker is a great game it brings everyone together and anybody can play poker with anyone it is the best game/sport to meet your heroes like you could have antonio esfandiary on your right and phil ivey on your left in any given tourney

I'm a pretty boring person, poker is the only interest I really have and it's the only thing I do in my free time

I find that when I meet new people and we talk about our interests, they either look at me like some sort of gambling addict, or they don't play poker but they did when they were in middle school

I try to use poker as a way to connect but it doesn't work as much as I would like unfortunately

Poker brings us together like sports fandom brings together people. My hatred of the Dallas Cowboys is something that makes talking to random people in public easier. Poker provides common ground for people to communicate.

Poker gives us the adrenaline and emotion, which some people get from hunting or fishing. I'm glad that I can share this with adrenaline and emotions in this community forum. I agree, poker brings people (like vodka)))

Do you love poker poker combines the incompatible! And people who love poker ! But always in me told unpleasant feeling when people say that poker was just a cube and look at poker as something bad!

im sorry but in a case like this it would be a nightmare lmao i would think. but interesting at the least. yup with phil on my left and tony on my right the only thing i would be missing is a gun to my head.

oh on the tables i have met all kinds of ppl with a lot of different life styles. i find that online poker has brought me to meet very interesting people from all over the world for that reason i celebrate. now for me it would be very hard to meet people from half way around the world if it wasnt for poker mainly cause of borders and distance one would need to travel or cross. Wow i could write a song about this lets see i would name it Imagine hehehehe.:shakehand

I love poker and people.

I usually play online. I never had any contact further then adding someone to my friendlist. When I play reallife poker I think it is a battle which brings you not closer. Maybe it is because Im a bit fanatic, and always want to win no matter the prizepool (large or small). Maybe it can be a friendly game though but I think other activities will bring you closer to people than poker.

I have always been interested in the question: "Why do so many people love to play poker?"
With a little thought, I came to the conclusion that poker attracts and unites people desire to take risks, to feel "creepy" in the skin, "adrenaline rush", and all this without any risk to life, but at some risk to the purse. The greater the risk - the more adrenaline.
But this is not the most important thing in poker. The most important thing is that poker makes it possible to find like-minded people, make new friends and just chat with interesting people.

Especially those who play live poker can make useful and necessary people who really can help at the right moment.

we can meet a lot of people through poker games and we can talk and joke at the tables but out of tables ... dont think that friendship continues

I'm a very private person but at the tables I come alive. I love playing with people I know hence the forum and all our good games..

To me they have become friends that I have eliminated

Hello. I believe that poker is a social sport. But apart from friends appear and "enemies". Combines anyway.

I love poker. But sometimes it plays on my mind how long I spend online and out of touch with people etc. But at the end of the day its a hobby and im enjoying myself.

I know some people have to take breaks and only like to play short sessions. Me, I can easily go all day with like a couple 10 min breaks or whatever. I love the game and want to get better and better.

I have met a good people playing poker & made friends.I have also seen security storm in at a casino because 2 players standing up and yelling at each other across a poker table.So I'm gonna say poker, makes friends and it makes enemies.

As with most things in poker - it depends!

There are a lot of ultra-serious twenty-somethings that glare at their opponents from behind their sunglasses and hoodies and frequent over-aggressive testosterone-filled forums that are much larger than this one.

Then there are a lot of people that don't necessarily take poker quite so seriously and are happy to make some friends along the way.

I also believe that poker brings peolple because you could say that is a universal feeling where there are many who like to share our experiences and so it can learn from other.
