Dan Harringtons books are Great. "Harrington on Holdem". They are strictly for NL Holdem Tourney play. It is a 3 book set though, so it can get costly.

David Slansky's "Theory of Poker" is a great book, It goes into depth on bluffing, deception, Free card, Slowplaying, Position, Reads and more.

Caro's Book of tells is good if you are playing a LOT of live games.

Phil Hellmuth's Texas Hold'em is also a great book. I like his limit hold'em Strategy!

Phil Gordon's Little Green Book

I like this one currently. It focuses on playing NL holdem with more aggression in your play.

Betting bigger, check raising, etc. to find out information, focuses on playing position... He has suggested bet amounts that he would do in certain situations too.

If you are conservative by nature and aren't quite sure how to be more aggressive successfully, this is a good book to read. It'll teach you how to vary your play a bit so you aren't so predictable to your fellow poker players.

Cheers,
Vegas Cat

Harrington's 3 book set is fantastic.

Theory of poker is great.

Texas Hold-em odds and probabilities. (very good to keep handy while playing online also)

Just read Scott Fishman's new book Online Ace. (it's okay, nothing special, some interesting tidbits about online play).

Ace on the River by Barry Greentstein was pretty good, it had a lot of stuff in it besides poker like life lessons that he has gone through
