Hello all,

I was just hoping that those of you that have read some poker books wouldn't mind giving me a suggestion on which ones you enjoyed and which ones helped you out on your game...

Specifically Hold'em books but I'm open to any books you guys would suggest.

Thanks!

"Power Holdem Strategy by D. Negreanu" !!

Reading it at the moment, and his "small ball" chapter is just.. awesome! Recommend it to every MTT player out there!! Beside that, there are other chapters as well, such as "shorthanded cash game", "playing online" and so on..

Here you'll find a nice overview :)

Its really worth to buy!! (imo.. :) )

Find Matthew Hilger's books - I find his advice and tips most applicable to the small stakes games most of us play and tournies with fast blind structures.

Every player should read Sklansky's No Limit Hold 'Em, Theory and Practice. It is the basic textbook, on which all the other systems rest. Then whether you are going to play power poker or not, you should read Brunson's Super System II, so you recognize players who are playing that way, and alter your game to deal with it. I'm a Cloutier disciple, and I recommend any of his many books, if you have the patience to play his way. But my favorite book is written by an anonymous pro, and is geared towards Limit Hold 'Em. It's a damn good read, even if you don't play Limit. Play Poker Like a Pigeon, and Take the Money Home.
