DRINK AND POKER

They say that drink and game is not very good, that's what happened to me today, I started with beer, and then a good whisky, and my game went to the bottom of the pit.
Today I realized that drinks and games do not match, as well as direction and drinks lol

Definitely not. Reasoning slows down, confused. And often you will make moves you do not understand :D

I am a man who drinks a lot, I like alcohol. Every weekend I drink something. But I must admit that drinking and poker do not go hand in hand. The best results were obtained by being sober, and the worst (including bankroll bankruptcy) was under the effects of the drink.

I agree! Alcohol changes your thinking, and you can lose everything. If I drank, then for poker and behind the wheel, I do not get down!

I gave up drinking while gambling years ago, and my bankroll is exponentially better off for it. I drink hot tea when at the tables now.

Alcohol slows you down but weed makes you think better and puts you in a deeper understanding of the game.

It's good that you understand this. Now you can not repeat this mistake.

I personally like a drink whilst playing but not to the extent hat it affects my play ( I think ). I have had a few reasonable results when half inebriated most of which were on PKR before it all went tits up but by then i had withdrawn all my funds . Biggest win being about 700 dollars for tournament play .:)

Every thing in moderation, of course if you are hammered you will not be thinking clearly. I like to have one or two beers, but not any more than that. Most times I don't drink anything.
My brother was way ahead in cash games. He started celebrating, then turned the games back on and lost it all. I had gone home by then. He didn't even remember playing most of the time. Tough one to learn there.

I can afford a glass of cognac with cola only when I play live with friends. In online poker Never.

I doubt that your progrysh - the result of a delightful whiskey - is a problem in your decisions at the table, and alcohol is just an excuse for losing.

Online poker and alcohol are not compatible, but when you play with friends to drink good whiskey is sacred

I can tell from my own that I keep playing the same while drinking some Bears. But when I got drunk boy wiskey its impossible to play my A game.

More than a mind game on poker we have to mesure the resistence. Some times you get borried. I m not against drink at all especialy when you are just playing for fun

Brews are good if everyone is drinking them. Personally, alcohol makes me play better.

I believe that alcohol and poker are incompatible things, because the use of alcohol during the game does not allow you to concentrate and think logically, but it depends on the amount of alcohol.
