Poker After Dark

Is it me or is the lineup god awful. They are all great players and I'm not knocking there talent, but talk about the world's most boring and safe plays. I actually feel sorry for Matusow. He seems to be playing weak. He must be down alot of money. What do you cats think?

Yes, I've noticed the same thing recently. Seems like the show is not as exciting as it was in the beginning.

I feel the same way about High Stakes Poker as well.

Its seems like if Dwan, Antonius or Ivey (not Craig) arent involved the shows are boring. However I do like the NBC Heads Up. Go Cubs!

Always makes for a better PAD when Helmuth is playing. Definitely adds to the entertainment factor.
I missed who won it this week (fell asleep). Was hoping for MikeTheMouth (and no... I don't think he's altering his play on account of being down in funds.... obv adjusting to the table).
Too bad Bellande (sp?) got KO'd early on..... his aggressive play makes it more interesting (& his whining when he gets sucked out on).

don't think mike was adjusting to the table or he would have loosened up , everyone was playing pretty tight . he is now 1/14

Jet was missing one button on her shirt. Big time stress on those stitches, and when it popped, man it must of hit the other wall.

Well I believe that pokerstars team pros can't play anymore so no more fun Negreanu or Elky, but yes I am missing Ivey, Hellmuth, Negreanu, Ferguson and big name fun lineups.

Just tossing out another opinion.

I agree that some of the episodes are not as exciting as others. But it is still good poker. The internet guys are mixing it up well too.

I think we have it pretty good. Remember when we only had Celebrity Poker Showdown???? I'd rather die of 1000 paper cuts!

Oh, and if you live in canada, you were screwed. Canadian produced poker WAS the worst poker in the world! (hopefully they're still working on it)

I would love to see Darvin moon on high stakes, I think that would at least be entertaining. I love watching Jamie Gold he's got that great scumbag hollywood vibe that makes for great TV.
