Yes, and it's nice to get an early lead like that in a tourney! But on the other hand I've also called shoves with aces on the first hand and been knocked out. It happens.

Yes, a couple of times
But it sucks when no one calls and you went allin
It then feels like mis opportunity

Had pocket aces in the first hand once playing live at a casino...for some reason, I only bought in for half of the max...lucky for me because my aces got beat, but I still had another $100 for a second buy in and ended the 2 hour session up a few bucks.

AA first hand

Hey guys,

Have you ever had pocket aces in the first hand and there were 1,2 all-ins to you and you easily call the hand and win it after that?:D

I personally have had Aces first hand and won a few times but more often will lose to a random suited hand or a set. I personally hate aces because it can easily cost you a stack when someone shoves. I dont think many ppl fold aces in any spot where an opponent shoves them. They are the poker players Bane.

It already happened a couple of times, but usually only when I play freerolls. And of course I call, but recently I'm in such bad streak that I generally lose :(

Hi.
This happens quite often. Of course, with pocket aces you always have the advantage, but there is also always the possibility that your opponent is playing with garbage and today luck is on his side.
Good luck.

even if I have two aces, I am afraid when more than two opponents enter the pot
here the odds of my hand are already less than two or one
but i will try my luck i have weak discipline to throw them away[emoji854][emoji854][emoji854][emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]

I get paranoid with aces on the first hand especially if theres 2 all ins before me.

Ahaha. Same fore me, especially if I am going to play a tournament with more serious attention. But in tournament when I am going to be more relaxed, the call of the all-in is the easiest thing in that occasion. :D

AA in first hand

A common and very common occurrence when, on the first hand, AA, and many go all-in, here 99% call

You are absolutely right. It is very hard to fold AA in the first hand pre-flop, despite the fact there are some all-ins before you. I don't think this is a weak discipline, this is AA in the first hand and it is not wrong to fold them, even if are a lot of all-ins. It will be wrong decision to play them after the flop with bad flop, turn and river and someone bet you big and you play them for example.

Yep - first hand in a home game tourney.
Guy in front of me went all in. I had AA so I called.
We BOTH turned over AA. Only way to win was with a flush. Did not happen. We split the blinds.

You mean in a cash game ??? No , no as far as I can recall in my memory . In tournaments it's a whole different story , there have been times to shove AA very few hands after the game started and get one or more calls , but most of the times AA UTG I get it very early , that is very bad news , many callers will follow , inability to play post flop with many opponents in the hand . I migh make a very big bet to discourage many loose players , or even go All In , who knows , sb my call , if not , better not win more chips oor money , rather than lose everything ;)

Yes, of course I had a pair of AAs, which is a good start to the tournament to increase my chips.

Sadly for me I had that happen to me in a tournament where I'm off to a great start but then I was tilted later in the tournament and missed out on the money.

I had KK the first hand of a tournament - got it all in against 2 players - one also had KK, the other AA. That was a new one for me. Drawing basically dead pre with KK lol

If it’s a Public Freeroll and I get AA first hand I shove it all in. You’re going to get at least one call most of the time and then you’ll have enough chips to play loose. I find every time I 4bet it it’s still too cheap and you’ll get a lot of callers which ends up making AA feel very weak. If it’s a private Freeroll or money tournament I will raise to 200 and see where that gets me.

I played many freeroll tournaments before, and the situation one or two people all-in in the first round is not rare and when I have an Aces or KK, it will be a very easy call.
