Hello Guys,

I decided to record a bit of my Ring Game play and am wondering if you guys will comment on my play and any hands I should have played differently.

I had a good session on my opinion, got a few good hands! It is low limits, only 1/2c.

Its 15 minutes long.

A hand I would say I should have played differently is my very last hand where I got 3 of a kind Aces, but I will let you guys comment or critique.

If you dont have time, dont dont worry about it - but if you do, then it would be much appreciated.

Thank You,

what I am after is basically whether I should have or could have played any hands differently, any mistakes or mis-reads I made - and general critique (or praise :))

1) Get a mic! Quick! I've seen cheap ones around for as low as $10.

2) For a multi-tabling video, set your Stars options to show bet amounts. When we are trying to follow you between tables, it helps us recognize the situation and bet amounts.

3) Your file size is pretty big for only 15 mins worth of video and you didn't even have sound. You can do things like make your screen smaller by overlapping your tables a bit more and set your frames per second lower. I just made one with sound that was 33 minutes and was only 97MB. I'll share my CamStudio settings with you, if you'd like.

Now for poker:

4) I'm not sure why you bet 50x BB ($1) with AK and no limpers in front of you. Were you really going to be happy making only 3 cents? In the prior hand, you bet your AT for 5x BB and played it perfectly. Why so different with AK? (Forget the fact that you got lucky enough to get 1 caller and felted him.)

I just watched a few minutes and wanted to stop to make these points while fresh in my mind. I'll have more later.

-Then you proceed to give a guy tips about how badly he played his KK vs your TT when you hit a set. Do you want to take more of his money or do you want him to get better so you can't? I think I know the answer.

-Most of the notes you are taking are a bit too vague. If a guy PFR's AK 4x BB, it's not unique. If he does it UTG, then maybe. I found that including position in my notes helps me recognize the type of player he is when I run into him later.

(I hope I don't seem too harsh here. I'm using short sentences that may seem stern, but it's not intended. :) )

More later.

IMO, you're getting away with plays at these stakes that wouldn't work at stakes a bit higher.

-The MP limp/re-small-raise with 66 is a huge no-no. If you're going to make a hard play with a small pair, pump it up in the beginning. Then your weak stabs at the turn & river completely amaze me that they worked. There was a flush draw & overcards out there and fortunately no one had either. I think you got very lucky there.

Anyway, I'll get off your case now. I still hope I don't seem too harsh. I'll let someone else have a shot. Keep doing these videos because it's great to get different perspectives, even if they're not from an expert (which I am far from). A great learning tool.
