I always play on my desktop or laptop, but I was curious to see how well it would work playing poker on my ipad.
Of course this would only work for web based sites.
So I tried Global Poker and it seems to work ok. I wouldn't recommend multi tabling on the small screen, but it's good for when you're without a computer. Maybe camping trip or something.
Anyone else play on a tablet?

I have the poker stars App on my iPad, it works really well. 888 and Grosvenor poker both can be played on a browser. 888 is hard to multi table, you'll have to sit out one table to play the other

I didn't know pokerstars had an app. If they ever come back to US I will have to try it. I also played carbon poker on tablet too

I tried to play on the tablet. This is not very convenient. The tablet does not display all the information on the poker site. Some tournaments you have to look for at the tournament number.

I usually play on a desktop - most of the sites I play on do not offer a tablet version (at least as far as I looked into it a few months ago). But I will remote into my PC and play using zohoassist you can get a free setup at zho.com/assist i would assume you can do the same with Logmein or teamviewer .

Anyway, I have used this on both my android tablet and android phone without issue though mulit-tabling is a pain so I usually just play one game at a time if I am doing that.

Was a great option when I was in a 4 hour tourney and had to leave the house. Was able to continue playing the game on my phone using the remote assist into my PC.

Yes. I played on the tablet. If you play 1 table, you more or less comfortable. But more is not convenient.

I did not play poker on the tablet, I ran poker from the phone 2 times and it's very bad to play on two windows, it's better to play on the computer, yes I agree that when there is no computer at hand and the phone will fit perfectly

I use the Pokerstars app on my iPad. It works great for one table, maybe two, but beyond that it becomes too cumbersome IMO. I've tried it on my smartphone, but find everything too small to see and interact with.

I play poker on a tablet, but I do not like it much, since when we play on a computer we have more tools to follow the opponents and make notes of their moves

I prefer my desktop. Many poker sites do not have tablet access, but even those that do allow access, it is more difficult to multi-table or check your position by looking at the tourney lobby.

If you enjoy single-tabling and don't like to chat much, there's zero loss in functionality on tablet.

If you enjoy multi-tabling as well as chatting, you will enjoy tablet a lot less than computer.

I did not try to play on the tablet. I think it's more convenient to play on a personal computer or laptop.

Android Tablet

I've been playing for three years only on the android tablet.
It's much more comfortable than on the PC.
I use a PC only to enter some poker groups.
It's a pity that the android version doesn't have all the features that PC has.
