What are the best sites for US players since Black Friday? Also can people in Washington state play online? Seem to recall there is a state law against it. Does anyone know? Thanks

I believe that you can play on Merge and Winning Poker Network if you are from Washington state. Carbon Poker or America's Card Room/Black Chip Poker.

This is a hard question to answer. right after black friday, I feel Merge was on top.. However I feel Merge really has drop the ball. Currently Revolution is on top but right behind is Bovada.. Bovada I feel has promotiions the little small stakes poker player but however they do have the anonymous tables.
Then there is horse coming up from behind. That is america cardroom. hey seem to attract people and also have small stakes .01/.02NL instead of .02/.04NL
Now that Big Part that I think all of them lack is some good .10, .25, .50, 1.10 tournaments. basically you are lucky to find a 1.10 tournaemnt or under tournament or when you do the structure really sucks. I think if a online poker site would run cheap with good stuctures like poker stars did... they would be on top easily.

What do you mean? to play bovada's freerolls you DO need to have made a deposit and accumulate poker points, For CardsChat freerolls you need to be in the freeroll club, Once you are in the freeroll club you will need to add your name in the Bovada sign up thread.

I play on Lock (Revolution), Carbon (Merge) , Bovada, and I'll be playing on America's cardroom later tonight. They all pretty much suck unless you're winning the big GTD's. The smaller buy in fields w/ low turnouts just don't get me hard anymore.

I believe you need an invite to Intertops if you are from the US.

I like the bovada interface best. The SNGs take while to fill up at times, but there are lots of promotions and plenty of tables. I really don't like the interface on america's card room, though once you can actually find the table-tournament you are looking for, its not bad.

Bovada, Americas Card Room and Carbon would be the top 3 currently. However there are some new ones coming soon in 2013!

playing online in USA

Part of deciding where to play is why you play. If serious about making larger amount of money probably carbon or ACR. If playing just because you like poker(like me) carbon and Juicy stakes probably better. Taking in who has best customer care Bovada or Juicy. Carbon poker customer care is worst in industry. Bovada players are anonymous so don't know who you are playing against, both pro and cons, but I like their software.I have played numerous times on every poker site that allows Americans to play but in the end it is according to what you like.

I am new to online poker and researched pretty hard and decided on bovada. I can say this was a very good starting point. The anonymous player thing is going to be the one thing that will cause me to look elsewhere as I progress in my skills. But, I think it's a worthwhile experiment for sure. You get plenty of free play money and depositing is easy.. Now when I hit it big, I'll let you know how the withdrawal performance stacks up.. But, I really don't think it'll be an issue. I contacted them by phone to suggest a secure way to transfer my credit card data and pix and they were VERY cooperative and I am comfortable with the security of the transfer of my info. The agent was very helpful and I had a full confirmation of my approval within just a few hours.. I hope this is the manner in which any other questions I ever have will be addressed. GOOD LUCK!

Bovada heads down is the best site right now in my opinion... Low cost deposits and great costumer service...
