What is the best way to accomplish this? With states like New Jersey and Nevada allowing online gaming, and sites like ACR/Carbon/etc accepting US players...would it be feasible to play full time (6 tables, 40 hrs a week) without resorting to leaving the country?

Would it be a better to move to New Jersey and play full time on a site like partypoker (I've come to my own conclusion on 888, wouldn't even consider that)

OR,

stay in the state that I'm in (which considers earning a living from professional gambling illegal, poker included) and continue to play on grey area sites?

Any other suggestions not directly associated to the question at hand would be very welcome.

Well,if i were you i would play where i am for now and if something happens to these grey area sites then move.. i mean if US closes them or restrict them... if its possible play there for now and move if restricted.
If your desire is to play poker only...but i also think that to move to another state you have to be very good poker player to do so...
its not that easy to make money on poker sites these days...(cash especially)

Which is my main concern, and a big reason I'm wondering if moving to play on a regulated site might be a better idea.

I want to avoid my whole online bankroll getting frozen out because these grey sites go dark.

I know plenty of US players that make a decent living playing in NJ...Bovada, 888, and party poker seem to be essential in getting nice payouts.

I was wondering this as well. I'm currently playing on ACR and Bet Online but they both seem kind of shady. Especially Bet Online for that matter. Has anyone ever had any experience with these two rooms cashing out?
