The funny thing is that I played maybe 12 hands at that table and I was disgusted at how poor some of the play was. I think when a pro sits down, the table fills up with knuckleheads like me who just want a HH for their scrap book.

You may well have a point there, heh. :)

To be fair, he was playing 4 or 5 tables. He probably never gave it a 2nd thought.

pffft. Come on man, you gotta practice on the story you'll be telling your grandkids.

It should go something like this: "And grampy re-popped the 2000 ME Champ with 88 and Chris Ferguson had 15 seconds left to act and he folded. Cause grampy is awesome".

Everyone remember what the pros say about amateurs?

"Their main downfall is that they play too many hands."

:D

Andy bloch was kind enough to play a play money SNG when FTP first started, I wasn't a real money player then and tried to bluff but he called with his 3rd pair and i first busted, i dont think he was interested in playing long but he kind enough and i respect that.

Chris Ferguson seems to play more often than many of the other Pros at lower stakes. And he does seem like a nice guy, overall. I sat next to Andy Bloch (who also seems nice, online) once in a charity tourney at FTP. We were heads up in a small'ish pot and both whiffed the flop. We duked it out to showdown and split the pot with Q8o. He took me out the next hand.
