Playing against famous poker players

Hi all,

Just out of interest/ bit of fun, have you ever played against a famous player and how did it go??

I once played against Will Kassouf in a cash game at a London casino but didn't end up in a pot with him - and have to admit I stayed well away from trying too haha!

I never played with one of professional player at one table, only in one tournament (on-line)))

I'd love to play against a famous poker player IRL, haven't been given the chance yet though as I live in Greece so doubt it will be happening any time soon.

That's cool, how did you get on and did you learn anything playing against them?

I never had the opportunity to play against a famous good show that happened live in a unique and unforgettable possibility.
If I have ever seen celebrities playing

I have never had this pleasure of being at a poker table with one of these myths
In online games yes

James Woods, Vince Van Patten and Ronny Cox (Deliverance) come to mind.

Not sure if these are famous poker players, or famous people who play poker. ☺

Vince Van Patten def counts, wouldn't play him at tennis though!! [emoji23] [emoji462]

I haven't had that chance to play with a famous person yeah. But I think it would be really interesting.
