For the example,
I have been playing poker for almost 5 years.
Always as a hobby, the money I win or loose don't make any diference in my life.
What about you guys?
When you just start playing and are new to the tables, you usually play for fun. After studying and understanding the game technically well, it begins to raise the idea of playing to make money.
I love to play with my friends . We get toghether 21 players, and play 7 handed. 1 of our friends re-seats us and stuff. We play a turney for 20 zł(after calculated it's about 6$). We've been playing winner takes all for a long time ut now we changed it to 4 players in money. I think this is one most fun things that meet me every week I think you shuld stay having a real job, and play poker as a hobby. Hobbies also can get you momey
I play poker because i love this game. Ten years ago i even didn't hear about it. But now it is my best game to spend free time. Poker is perfect (even with AA loosing to 72o))))
I play for both, first for money and while I play I enjoy it and is funny. But I try to play for funny every time because the game can be stressfull sometime for some presure of players or someting like that.
I actually play poker because it is a passion not even for fun is a lifestyle a basic need ... I love playing poker ..
And if you can earn a lot of money but you have to have a lot of discipline to get to it, do not despair over a bad day or 7 bad days you just have to have patience that doing things right everything comes.
I play poker for money, on many occasions I play for fun, on some to revenge of who won my money, and and finally game to recover my money so that afterwards I get happy and poker becomes fun, simple well.
For me, freeroll poker is not a poker at all. Stack has a zero value and freeroll players mostly bad at money.
I play freerolls online just to waste some time. (it's not about Cardschat freerolls) ))
I only play as a hobby. I'd like to make a bit of money out of it but I definitely don't have enough time to spend on it in order to be able to make good money out of it.
Pre back Friday I almost never played "fun" play money games. Of course I played freerolls that had a prize attached to them but as far as play money chips with no prize NEVER. In the past few years I have found enjoyment playing the "play money" tournaments on pokerstars. I guess the fun comes from building my chip account each week and playing the bigger buy in "play chip" tourneys.
I still do play for real money as well just split my time a bit more these days....
i played for money at some point but at some point i did kind of lose the fun in the game so i stopped playing. IMO fun should be the priority. If you have fun playing and you are good enough to play then i can be about the money.
I think that on start and learning you should play for fun witch virtual money. If you will learn enought then you cna start play rof real money, but remember to play for fun not for money.
