I listen to all kinds of different stuff. It just depends on whatever pops into my head

Depends, if I'm trying to focus and feel energized... I go for the hard rock/alternative rock playlist: Nirvana, Danzig, Kyuss, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, STP, GNR, Misfits, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Clash, Metallica.

If I'm trying to just find a stable groove and relax a bit, especially if I had a hard day I go with hip hop and trip hop... Massive Attack, Portishead, etc

Yeap, i enjoy of listening music while play poker. Usually it's alternative rock or symphonic metal (my favorite genres), but also i can listening to electric music or trap: it's depend on my fillings.

Sometimes no music, other times and mostly I do like some music. It has been researched and shown to stimulate the brain to be more creative and active in problem solving. Those studies showed the music doesn't matter too much, my personal preference lately has been house, electronic, techno styles and some headspace type music.
