Is it just me or do Ivey and Antonius play more interesting hands against each other than any other combo of big pros out there?

I had never seen this hand before but it is just jaw-dropping.

YouTube - Phil Ivey vs Patrik Antonius in a 807k Cash Pot Plus Free Poker bankroll

Analysis?

I am not sure if Antonius' call on the river is good. I mean, is this possibly a call because it's an exploitatively tight fold? Antonius' hand is very face-up imo and if Ivey knows Patrik is capable of folding AAA it gives him license to steal. And they play so often together. Or is it a fold because when Ivey 3bs the flop and fires so big on turn and river he can't be bluffing often especially since Antonius' hand is face up?

The tension on the river is unbearable, I wonder if Ivey is wondering if Antonius ran him down....

Very few could lay down the trip aces. I think Ivey knew what Patrik had.

I've seen that video before, what we all aren't considering is the amount Ivey bluffs, I've seen a couple of player interviews where the other pro's claim that Ivey plays in an even more aggressive manner when the game isn't on air. So the possibility that a player like Ivey was bluffing through out the hand is quite likely.

Here's another hand from the same show i'm sure ya'll must've seen.

Both hands very interesting :) I like how Antonius' facial expression never changes.

the simultaneous "oh my gosh" in the second video was so funny. both videos were great. the sick thing is to a guy like ivey losing that pot doesnt even matter to him.

there is apparently more story to the PA-Ivey hand. They had huge prop bets going, and it affected PA's thinking on the river. Phil had extra incentive not to show down a hand with a red ace so with two black aces on the flop, PA didn't think Ivey could have one, so he figured it was JJ or nothing.
