Have to say the PAD cash game is incredibly boring, especially compared to the lineup on HSP. But Hellmuth getting soul-pwn3d by Brandon Adams could make this week watchable.

Matusow raises to AJ and Hellmuth just smooth calls on the BTN with TT. Brandon Adams decides it's a perfect time for a squeeze with Tc7c. Matusow folds and Hellmuth decides to reraise. Adams puts in a fourth raise and Hellmuth calls. The pot is around $35k, aka each player has about a PSB left. The flop comes Q 8 2 with two clubs, and Adams instashoves the flops.

Hellmuth lolfolds.

OMGWTF

if he thinks Adams is making a move "I put him on AK at best," folding a flop that safe is beyond absurd. Is he set-mining in a 5-bet pot?

Hellmuth playing so bad that episode made this 2 weeks worth watching. I'm now convinced he's just doing it cuz he's on tv.

Raise to 800, bunch of callers, and he raises to 10,800 with Aces. LOL.

When Adams came over the top of him I couldn't believe it. Was so fun to watch. Then he called and folded, unreal. The table reactions were great.

I totally forgot about the hand with Matusow and him and he flopped an open-ended straight draw and flush draw, and Matusow flopped two pair, and it didn't go all-in.

Esfandiari's comment about the reraise with Aces was great.

"What hand can you possibly have that makes that raise correct, fishcakes?"

yeah i saw that. i had dvr'd it, and im thinkin if phil would not run his mouth so much, he would be so much better off. telling the other pros at the table, that your gonna trap them and let them have the small pots so you win a big pot off them is quaint. surely he cant think thats gonna work! but it sure is funny!:D

Phil Hellmuth is a disciplined poker player and if he feels he's beat by some donkey that makes a play than good for him in folding. He's the only pro to get shoved around so much I feel for him. He's always ahead and ends up taking a bad beat.

And, the icing on the cake was when Todd Brunson pulled out his "Little Phil" crying doll, with the PH logo on its cap!

There was no beat there. He was outplayed by the "Live one" as phil calls him.

lmao. ive always thought either phil hellmuth is truly the worst cash game poker players of all time or he's just putting on a facade to throw people off their thinking in private cash games. im inclined towards the former atm but the worse he plays, the more incredulous it becomes.

brandon adams is a sexy beast.

But it is bad to ALWAYS have the best hand when it goes all in. It means you don't bluff enough.

Phil: you know what would have been amazing Mike, if it would have come Queen, four, deuce and he would've shipped it and I would've called him right away.

Mike: but whats the difference between Queen, eight, deuce and Queen, four, deuce...

Rofl.
