What do you think the best style is to beat certain games?

1) Tight Passive Table
2) Normal Tabls (mixed players)
3) Very Loose Table

I think you have to shift gears to beat all three games, what do you think?

:thrasher:

I set out with every intention of answering this question and then I realized this is one for a better player to answer. So now I await the right response also.

Well your kinda screwed if you look at it my way. On the tight table you can be a little more aggressive because you know if your called they have something. This does however allow you to take some blinds.
At a normal table your normal game would apply. Unless your normal game was shit.:)
The very loose table is tough because we've all seen the loosies get lucky as hell. 3-7 off is not better than AA, but you have to prove it to them. Then the flop comes 377 after you go all in:eek: .

i usually start off loose depending on how the other players are playing which i can usually pick up on in a few hands but later in the game when the blinds aare huge i usually play tight......this is mainly for freerolls where the blinds are in the thousands at the final table......for single tables i tend to play more loose then tight bc everyone is just looking to place but im lookin to win

If you are a low limit or no limit online player there is no reason to get "cute", keep it simple stupid and you will win. The only time you need to get deceptive or "change gears" is when you are up against good players because they are not going to pay off your obvious monsters. K.I.S.S. is by far the best approach against the vast majority of players you run into during online low stakes play.

Think you have to check the situation out and see what's going on at the tables first and then judge for yourself how your going to go up against them. I've had times on pre-flop get AA- and some one or several go all in,in front of me, on first hand, but I've found that if you go all in to start with, you can get burnt bad, because 2 pair will beat those lonely aces if you don't hit. To me it just depends on how the table is playing,so if you don't know how they play,I sit out and watch. Then you can make a judgement call. Hope this makes sense.

I can't really answer that as I tend to adapt to table conditions.

If the table is tight, then I am loose. Loose table, tight Grum etc
