I recently tried these tables out, normally two tables at once.

What happens is, when you fold, you move to another table. Fold again, another table. They are designed so that you are playing constantly and not waiting for hands to finish on your table when you are not in them.

Personally (only 6 tables) I haven't walked away with a loss yet. All I do is constantly fold until Premium hands come my way.

Jus finished played for an hour with $5 on each table (two in total so $10 total)
20mins- 12.51 + 5.23
40mins- 17.08 + 6.41
60mins- 11.10 + 11.68
Total $22.78

I am going to carry on with these tables for now but a few thoughts have struck me:
1. Everyone else waiting for premium hands so when you are calling with your hands, it will be against better hands
2. No read on players
3. Bad practice e.g your skills will not improve much with this style

Anyone else play these tables/have an opinion on them?

I've played snap on 888 and it's quite good fun in terms of not hanging around. In terms of skills and reads you're right except that I noticed I was folding lots of hands I'd ordinarily play - more than I expected I would. Which was kind of revealing about my normal play - I think I play too many hands.

Love it. Not a winner at it, but still love it. Definitely prefer to use a HUD while playing it, though.

In 888 lobby the top tier of horizontal tabs are : Beginners / Quick Seat / All Games / My Favourites / Play with friends and now they have added SNAP. If you click on there there are cash game and tournament options. There are several freerolls a day in tournament.

If you can't see that tab I guess it's still in beta testing (whilst they work out how to maximise their rake) but I thought it was on general release now.

I already don't like to play NLH normal cash game tables, zoom tables I hate even more. It's no skill at all in my opinion and I don't have fun waiting only for AA, KK or QQ to play. I like to zoom omaha tables, at least, you have a bigger range of hands to play, so, it's not a robotic thing.

I usually play 2-3 tables on the lowest zoom NLHE on poker stars. I enter every table with the maximum of 2$ and in about 30 mins. I have 4-5$ (mostly from stealing blinds and when lower stacks [0.20-0.50$] go all-in with lower hands). Sometimes I lose some, but overall I'm ahead. What I did notice is that not all players wait for a good hand and just call on a weak draw making it easy to win even with a high card ace. Some people are in fact waiting for me to raise for them and go all-in on the river, but it's easy to tell because they pretend to think before they call while people waiting on a draw generally call as soon as I raise. To bottom line this - IF you keep your eyes open, you'll win 95% of the time.

I started playing the PLO zoom poker on bovada.. I like it because its giving me more experience with different hand situations faster.. It doesnt give you the ability to read players or anything that you would get at a regular but i like seeing a ton of hands and getting the feel of how to play a bunch of situations faster

Omaha is really about luck IMO, I've won with ridiculous hands and lost with AA23 (suited diamonds and spades) on H/L and I assume that's the best starting hand.

I disagree. First I didn't say "all" about luck but far more than any other game. 5 and 7 card stud and HE are way different. On the former you see the other players' cards and on HE with AA vs 72 the chances are what? ~88%:12%? Sure the flop may be 772, but bottom line - I would go all-in with a fair number of hands. Only fools will do that often on Omaha. Anyway, I believe my point is proven, but even if it's not - we're going way offtopic and shouldn't discuss it here.

I do not agree it´s all about the luck. Actually I think its similar to classic ring table games. There are plenty of players at ZOOM tables that overplays middle pairs, play passively and play badly in general. The only difference I see is that you need HUD for more accurate reads...

Folding is fast indeed, but if you play 10-20 tables you can't always wait for a premium hand. Sometimes you have to play the hand you're dealt... within reason of course.

Wouldent the juicier tables be st night though like say you were to play from 1 am to 8 am with fresh sleep youd have a good advantage right ?

IMO the competition is a bit stiffer playing speed/ zoom games. People do tend to wait for premium hands, and from my experience I have ran into AA and KK much more frequently.

Time doesn't affect the tables much, my night time is US day time. Though I might be wrong since I have better luck at around 4 AM EET (Bulgaria). Plus the odds in MTT are better during that time. Haven't collected much data on time changes on zoom.

I'll go a bit offtopic just to say that I can't play anything, but pokerstars and Full Tilt because of some stupid licence law in Bulgaria. All sites are blocked including the two I mentioned, but unlike all the rest - their programs still work.

That covers what I had to say also.

The fast-fold poker variants definitely play tighter than "standard" games because people no longer have to wait an age to be dealt premium holdings.

You may get more hands per hour playing fast-fold poker, but you do so at the expense of lack of reads and the really weak players who do not have a clue what fast-fold poker is and are scared of it!
